Trained as a translator and publicist, she has become a committed activist in the promotion and defense of rights and a committed worker, actively contributing to the advancement of people with disabilities, especially women and children. She works on issues related to violence and discrimination, empowerment through access to the labor market, social and civic inclusion as well as fair and equal access to social and health services. She considers that social participation and economic inclusion for all is a fundamental right and that by respecting it, we work collectively to achieve a fair, egalitarian and inclusive society.

She therefore calls for the recognition of the participation as well as the improvement of the living conditions of people with disabilities, regardless of their age, gender or ethnocultural origin.

“The inclusive society is a society that promotes equity, recognizing the diversity and the needs of all of its citizens. It also recognizes their contribution and prohibits any form of discrimination, which creates harmony and social peace,” Selma Kouidri.
